12 Feet Deep (2017)

12 Feet Deep (2017), also known as The Pool, is a survival horror-thriller directed by Matt Eskandari. The film revolves around a terrifying situation in which two sisters are trapped underwater at a public swimming pool. It explores themes of desperation, endurance, and the lengths one would go to in order to survive.
The story follows two sisters, Bree (played by Nora-Jane Noone) and Jonna (played by Alexandra Park), who visit a public swimming pool to relax and enjoy their day. After a series of unfortunate events, they find themselves locked inside a pool’s deep-end overnight.
As the night goes on, the pool’s cover is locked into place, leaving the sisters trapped 12 feet underwater with no way to escape. They must work together to find a way out while contending with their fear of drowning and a lack of oxygen. The film plays out as a tense survival thriller, with the sisters racing against time to survive the ordeal.
The isolation, claustrophobia, and extreme circumstances contribute to the mounting tension as the sisters struggle with both their physical and emotional limitations.
