4 YEARS AGO: COBRA KAI SEASON 3 RELEASED ON NETFLIX!

The highly anticipated Cobra Kai Season 3 was the show’s move to Netflix and announced in 2020. We saw the aftermath of school brawl between Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do students, which left Miguel hospitalized and Robby on the run. Daniel and Johnny’s difference in philosophy’s lead to grueling consequences which set the show’s tone darker than ever.
Miguel’s difficult recovery from his injuries, while Johnny grapples with guilt and tries to redeem himself. Robby, consumed by anger, becomes a fugitive. Kreese seizes control of Cobra Kai, instilling his ruthless “no mercy” philosophy in Johnny’s students, who become increasingly aggressive. Daniel looked for answers for his business LaRusso Auto, which lead him to Tokyo whilst reuniting with Kumiko and his past rival Chozen. He who taught Daniel more about Miyagi-Dos forbidden techniques. Sam’s struggle with PTSD, panic attacks and fear after her brutal fight with Tory, impacting her training and confidence. New alliances and tensions escalated, the ‘Dark Hawk’ era, EF and Miyagi-Do teaming up to fight Cobra Kai at LaRusso’s House, Johnny vs Kreese, Johnny vs Robby, Daniel first fight with Kreese and saving Johnny.S3 was truly remarkable and changed the series in a great way. S3’s ending was iconic with Johnny and Daniel teaming up to stop Cobra Kai at the 51st All-Valley Tournament. S3 heavily focused on themes of redemption, forgiveness, consequences of actions, mental health, the pasts and embracing the fight for the future.
