Plot Summary

After decades of silence, the sands of Egypt stir once more. Rick O’Connell (Brendan Fraser) has long retired from his life of treasure hunting and battling the undead, but when a secret excavation site uncovers a forbidden tomb buried beneath the Valley of the Kings, an ancient evil is awakened.

The newly resurrected Queen Neferira (Sofia Boutella), a forgotten ruler erased from history, returns with a vengeance. Cursed with dark magic and fueled by an insatiable desire for power, she seeks to complete the ritual that was interrupted millennia ago—one that could grant her dominion over both the living and the dead.

Summoned out of retirement by an old friend, Rick and Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) must race against time to stop Neferira before she unleashes a plague that could consume the world. With Jonathan (John Hannah) reluctantly joining the adventure once more and Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr) warning of a prophecy that foretells the fall of humanity, the O’Connells must venture deep into lost tombs, decode ancient texts, and survive supernatural forces beyond imagination.
