Plot Summary

In a dystopian future where humans and vampires have been at war for centuries, the Church rules with an iron fist, and society lives in walled-off cities protected from the bloodthirsty creatures that roam outside. The war was once fought by elite warriors known as Priests, but after the vampires were supposedly defeated, the Church disbanded them.

However, when a rogue vampire clan kidnaps his niece (Lily Collins), a legendary Priest (Paul Bettany) defies the Church’s orders and embarks on a dangerous journey into the wastelands. Joined by a sheriff (Cam Gigandet) and a skilled Priestess (Maggie Q), he soon discovers that the vampires are evolving, led by Black Hat (Karl Urban)—a former Priest turned into a powerful vampire hybrid.

As the battle between faith and rebellion, light and darkness unfolds, Priest must confront his past, his faith, and a rising vampire army that threatens to annihilate humanity once and for all.
