In response to a worldwide rise in demonic possessions, the Catholic Church reopens exorcism schools to train priests in the ancient art of casting out evil. But when Sister Ann (Jacqueline Byers), a young nun with a mysterious past, shows an extraordinary ability to confront demons, she is reluctantly allowed to trainโ€”despite the Church’s long-standing rule against women performing exorcisms.

As she deepens her knowledge, Ann is drawn into the case of a possessed young girl, only to realize that the demon tormenting the child may be the same entity that once haunted her own mother.
