Plot Summary

Busan, South Korea’s bustling coastal city, is known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant tourism. But hidden beneath the waves lies an unstable seismic fault, waiting to unleash catastrophic destruction.

Professor Kim Hwi (Park Joong-hoon) is a marine geologist who detects unusual seismic activity in the depths of the East Sea. As panic spreads, different characters face their own struggles:
