Plot Summary

After years of devastation from the zombie outbreak, South Korea is now a wasteland, overrun by the undead. The few survivors live in fortified cities, but supplies are dwindling, and hope is fading. However, a radio transmission from an unknown survivor claims that a hidden evacuation train is waiting at Busan Station, ready to take them to safety.

Jung Seok (Ma Dong-seok), a hardened fighter who has lost everything, gathers a group of survivors—including the fearless Ji-won (Park So-dam) and the desperate Min-jun (Kang Ha-neul)—to embark on a final, high-risk journey across the country. But as they race against time, they realize that the undead aren’t their only threat.

A ruthless military faction, led by General Choi (Lee Byung-hun), has its own plans for the train—and they won’t let anyone stand in their way. Now, survivors must fight both the living and the dead to make it to the last escape before it’s too late.
