Angelina Jolie | New Action Movie 2025

Agent is an action-espionage film starring Angelina Jolie as an elite agent for an international secret organization. When an undercover mission goes awry and exposes classified information, her character becomes the target of betrayals and conspiracies within her own agency.

As she struggles to clear her name, she uncovers a network of corruption that threatens global security. With lethal skills and outstanding intelligence, she races against time to dismantle the conspiracy and prevent an impending catastrophe.

In an early draft of the screenplay for “Agent,” there is a scene in which one character threatens to feed another to a type of pig called a “slothhurst,” which swallows it prey whole and digests it over the course of a thousand years. When asked if a slothhurst is a “pig”… or a “space pig,” actor/director/producer/writer Derek Ting gleefully responded, “a space pig!” His interlocutors talked him out of using the device in the film. Derek says not including the slothhurst is one of the great regrets of his life.
