Thunderbolts (2025)

Marvel’s Thunderbolts is finally coming to theaters on May 2, 2025! The film will bring together an epic team of misfits, including fan favorites like Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, and Red Guardian, along with new faces like Bob (rumored to be Sentry) and the always mysterious Valentina Allegra de Fontaine!

In Thunderbolts, this ragtag team of antiheroes is tasked with a high-stakes mission—fighting against powerful enemies that even the Avengers might shy away from. As the team faces off against increasingly dangerous adversaries, each member is grappling with their own sense of purpose, redemption, and identity. Expect plenty of action, humor, and some dark moments as they discover what it means to be “heroes” in their own twisted way.

But there’s also a big mystery: What’s up with the asterisk in the title? After a tense moment in the trailer, where Red Guardian declares, “We are the Thunderbolts!” and Bucky shakes his head saying, “We can’t call ourselves that,” the asterisk appears. Is it a symbol of their fractured team or a bigger twist to come? Only time will tell!
