Plot Summary

FBI Agent Griff Krenshaw (Richard Speight Jr.) is assigned to investigate the suspicious death of a scientist at a secretive, high-security prison facility that houses inmates with a rare genetic mutation—one that supposedly predisposes them to extreme violence.

As Griff delves deeper, he uncovers disturbing truths about the Evil Gene, a controversial theory suggesting that some people are born with an unavoidable predisposition toward murder and psychopathy. But what starts as a routine case quickly spirals into a nightmarish ordeal as Griff begins to experience strange visions and unexplained occurrences within the prison.

Dr. Dana Ehrhart (Cameron Richardson), a skeptical scientist, helps Griff uncover the dark experiments being conducted within the prison’s walls. As paranoia sets in and inmates begin to behave erratically, Griff starts questioning his own sanity. Is the Evil Gene real, or is something far more sinister manipulating the minds of those trapped inside?
