Plot Summary

Decades after the defeat of Imhotep, the world believes ancient curses are nothing more than myths. But when archaeologists unearth a hidden tomb beneath the ruins of Karnak, they accidentally awaken Pharaoh Akhenaten, a ruler who was erased from history for defying the gods and practicing forbidden dark magic.

Now, Akhenaten is reborn with god-like powers, seeking to reshape the world in his own image and punish the descendants of those who betrayed him. His return triggers a series of plagues, from sandstorms that swallow cities to undead warriors rising from the desert.

When Alex O’Connell goes missing during an expedition, his parents, Rick and Evelyn, are forced back into action.
