Terminator Salvation (2009)

Terminator Salvation (2009) is the fourth installment in the Terminator franchise, directed by McG and starring Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, and Helena Bonham Carter. It represents a shift from the time-travel narrative of the earlier films, focusing on the post-apocalyptic future envisioned in the series.
Set in the year 2018, Terminator Salvation takes place after the events of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. The film depicts the war between the human resistance led by John Connor (Christian Bale) and the Skynet machines.
The story follows Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a mysterious figure who wakes up in a dystopian future with no memory of his past. Connor, meanwhile, is fighting to unite the remaining human survivors and to stop Skynet’s ultimate plan, which includes a new type of Terminator, the T-800 model.
