Years after the events of The Great Wall (2016), the mystical beasts, the Tao Tei, have been vanquished, and the Great Wall stands as a monument of humanity’s triumph. But peace never lasts.

When a mysterious force emerges from deep within the Mongolian steppes, bringing ancient, supernatural creatures deadlier than the Tao Tei, the warriors of the Nameless Order are forced into battle once again. William Garin (Matt Damon), now a legendary figure, is called back to aid Commander Lin Mae (Jing Tian), who leads a new generation of fighters.
