When Sam (Anders Danielsen Lie) visits his ex-girlfriendβs apartment in Paris to retrieve some belongings, he unknowingly walks into the beginning of the end. After a night of heavy drinking, he wakes up to find the city overrun by the undead.
Alone in an abandoned apartment building, Sam must adapt to his new reality, scavenging for food and fortifying his surroundings as he watches the streets below fill with silent, relentless zombies. His isolation begins to take a toll, forcing him to confront the horrors of loneliness just as much as the threat of the undead.
As days turn to weeks, Samβs sanity starts to fray. The only “company” he has is a caged zombie named Alfred (Denis Lavant) and the distant hope that someone else out there has survived. But when a woman named Sarah (Golshifteh Farahani) appears, Sam must decide if he can trust herβor if the real danger isnβt just outside the walls, but inside his own mind.
