Plot Summary

Season 3 of The Wheel of Time adapts the fourth book in Robert Jordan’s legendary fantasy series, The Shadow Rising, and promises to be the most expansive and emotional season yet. With the battle between the Light and the Shadow escalating, the characters must confront their destinies, bloodlines, and power—all while the world teeters on the brink of war.

Rand al’Thor embraces his role as the Dragon Reborn, but controlling his power—and himself—becomes a dangerous struggle. Meanwhile, Perrin Aybara journeys home to the Two Rivers, only to find his people under siege. Mat Cauthon is drawn deeper into his mysterious link with the ancient city of Rhuidean. Egwene, Nynaeve, and Elayne face their own trials as they confront the political schemes and growing darkness within the White Tower and beyond.

As The Forsaken rise and The Wheel turns, all paths lead toward the Waste—where Rand’s fate and the prophecies of the Dragon will be put to the test.
