🐉 Plot Overview

Following the events of the first film, the Earthrealm warriors prepare for the actual Mortal Kombat tournament, as the evil sorcerer Shang Tsung returns stronger, bringing back Sub-Zero as the fearsome Noob Saibot. The realms are on the verge of total war.

Cole Young searches for new champions to join Earthrealm, including Hollywood action star Johnny Cage, while Liu Kang and Raiden train for the brutal tournament that will decide the fate of humanity.

Meanwhile, dark alliances are forged in Outworld, and the secrets of the Lin Kuei, Scorpion’s resurrection, and the origin of the tournament begin to unfold.
