πͺοΈ Plot Summary
The Flood (2023) plunges viewers into a high-octane survival scenario set in a small Louisiana town devastated by a Category 5 hurricane. As floodwaters engulf the land and communications go dark, a group of dangerous prisoners is temporarily held at a local jail β just as the worst of the storm hits.
But water isnβt the only thing crashing through the walls. Gigantic, man-eating alligators, released from their natural habitat by the rising waters, invade the compound. The captors and the captives must put their differences aside and fight for survival in a nightmarish game of predator and prey.
Sheriff Jo Newman must lead a tense alliance between law enforcement and inmates as they battle not only the elements, but the monstrous reptiles hunting them one by one.
