Kratos learns that the land is divided: the gods of life (Osiris, Thoth, Bastet) and the gods of chaos (Set, Apophis) have long fought for control over the realm of mortals. But something is wrong. The balance has tipped, and Set has begun waging a brutal campaign to become the sole god of Egypt—enslaving the afterlife, twisting monsters from Egyptian myth, and corrupting the natural order.

Kratos, tired of being a pawn in divine wars, finds himself protecting a child prophet (rumored son or reincarnation of Horus) destined to bring balance. But as the sands shift and alliances break, Kratos must once again become the god-killer—facing new monsters, puzzles, and gods unlike any he’s encountered before.
