🐚 PLOT SYNOPSIS

When a deep-sea oil drilling project disturbs a forbidden trench in the Pacific, the world awakens something far older — and far more powerful — than any nation’s military. Marine biologist Dr. Elise Marlowe (Florence Pugh) is brought in to investigate these oceanic anomalies. But her scientific curiosity soon turns into horror when she uncovers ancient texts that speak of a long-banished merfolk civilization, exiled to the abyss after a brutal war with early mankind.
