πΆ Plot Summary
In a chilling reimagining of Stephen King’s terrifying classic, Cujo (2025) brings the horror back to life for a new generation.
Set in a quiet rural town in Maine, the story follows Donna Trenton (played by Elisabeth Moss), a mother trapped with her young son inside a broken-down car β stalked by a once-loving St. Bernard turned feral by a rabid bat bite. As the scorching sun beats down and hope fades, survival becomes a ticking clock.
Unlike the original, this version dives deeper into Cujo’s descent into madness, giving the dog a more visceral, almost supernatural menace β as if the rabies has awoken something ancient and dark inside him.
With flashbacks, hallucinations, and psychological dread, this remake explores fear not just from Cujo β but from within.
