Plot Summary
In the mythical Viking village of Berk, strength and dragon-slaying are a way of life. But for Hiccup, a skinny and inventive teenager, everything changes the moment he encounters the most feared dragon of all β the elusive Night Fury. Instead of killing it, Hiccup chooses to befriend it, and names the dragon Toothless.
Together, they break centuries of tradition and learn that dragons aren’t the enemies they’ve been taught to fear. As tensions rise and war looms, Hiccup must choose between what he was raised to believe and what he now knows to be true.
