The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror television series that aired from October 31, 2010, to April 4, 2022, spanning 11 seasons. Based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, the show became a cultural phenomenon and gained a massive fanbase.
The series follows a group of survivors navigating a world overrun by zombies, known as “walkers.” The story begins with Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln), who awakens from a coma to find that the world has been decimated by a zombie apocalypse. He sets out to find his family and eventually becomes the leader of a group of survivors.
