The film is set in a Central American jungle, where an elite commando team led by Dutch Schaefer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is on a mission to rescue hostages held by guerrilla forces. The team includes various experts, such as Dillon (Carl Weathers), Mac (Bill Duke), and Blain (Jesse Ventura).
During their mission, the group encounters fierce resistance from the guerrillas but quickly discover that they are being hunted by an invisible extraterrestrial predator. This creature, known as the Predator, is a technologically advanced alien with cloaking devices and a variety of deadly weapons. It is hunting commandos for fun, and its advanced technology and stealth make it a formidable enemy.
As the team members are picked off one by one, Dutch and his surviving teammates must use their skills and ingenuity to fight back and survive the Predator. The film combines intense action with elements of suspense and horror, showing the constant battle between humans and alien hunters.
