Plot Summary
In Captain America: Civil War, the Avengers face their greatest challenge—not from an external enemy but from within. After a catastrophic mission leads to civilian casualties, governments worldwide push for the Sokovia Accords, a regulation that would place the Avengers under United Nations oversight. This creates a deep rift within the team, as Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) find themselves on opposing sides.

Steve Rogers, driven by his loyalty to Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and his belief in personal freedom, refuses to sign the Accords. Tony Stark, burdened by guilt and a sense of responsibility, supports government control. As tensions escalate, alliances are tested, and old friendships are fractured.

The conflict comes to a head when an elusive villain, Zemo (Daniel Brühl), manipulates events to further divide the Avengers. What begins as a clash of ideologies spirals into a personal and devastating battle between the two leaders, leaving the team shattered and the world forever changed.
