SISU 2 (2024): The Legend Continues

Following the brutal, action-packed thrills of Sisu (2022), the highly anticipated sequel, Sisu 2, is set to hit theaters in 2024. This time, the unstoppable Finnish warrior faces even greater odds, blending breathtaking action with raw determination in a story of survival, vengeance, and resilience.
Set in the aftermath of World War II, Sisu 2 picks up with Aatami Korpi (Jorma Tommila), the relentless ex-soldier turned prospector, trying to rebuild his life in the quiet Finnish countryside. But peace is short-lived when a rogue Soviet faction, seeking revenge for Korpi’s legendary wartime exploits, descends upon his village.
Led by the ruthless Colonel Vladimir Zhukov (Mads Mikkelsen), the faction aims to claim Finland’s vast natural resources and eliminate Korpi, whose reputation as “The Immortal” precedes him. When his newfound home is destroyed and innocent lives are taken, Korpi embarks on another blood-soaked mission of vengeance, armed with his wits, his unwavering will, and a seemingly endless supply of grit.
As the stakes rise, Korpi must face not only the Soviet forces but also his own past, including haunting memories of his family and a long-buried secret that could change the course of his quest. With enemies closing in and the odds stacked against him, Korpi once again proves why legends never die.
