Gwildor invents a Cosmic Key, a device that can open portals to any location in the universe. When Skeletor’s forces ambush He-Man’s group, they use the Cosmic Key to escape—but accidentally transport themselves to Earth. On Earth, two teenagers, Julie (Courteney Cox) and her boyfriend Kevin (Robert Duncan McNeill), discover the Cosmic Key. Mistaking it for a musical instrument, they inadvertently activate it, alerting Skeletor’s forces to their location. Skeletor sends his henchmen—Beast Man, Evil-Lyn, and others—to retrieve the Key and capture He-Man

What follows is a battle between He-Man’s group and Skeletor’s minions across Earth, involving chase scenes, firefights, and moments of heroism. Eventually, the battle returns to Eternia, where He-Man confronts Skeletor in an epic showdown to save the Sorceress and restore balance to the universe.
