Plot Summary

Beneath the seemingly lifeless waters of the Dead Sea, something ancient stirs. When a team of marine biologists and deep-sea explorers embarks on an expedition to uncover mysterious seismic activity beneath the seabed, they unknowingly awaken a long-buried nightmare.

Dr. Evelyn Carter (Anya Taylor-Joy) leads the mission, hoping to unlock secrets hidden for thousands of years. But as they venture deeper into the abyss, their research vessel encounters disturbing anomalies—vanishing crew members, inexplicable shadows moving in the water, and eerie sounds echoing through the ocean depths.

Captain James Holloway (Cillian Murphy) struggles to maintain control as the team realizes they are not alone.
