The Shallows (2016)

The story follows Nancy Adams (Blake Lively), a medical student who is mourning the recent death of her mother. She decides to visit a secluded beach in Mexico, a place her mother used to talk about, for some solace and surfing. However, her peaceful retreat soon turns into a nightmare when she is attacked by a massive great white shark.
Nancy finds herself stranded on a small rock formation a short distance from the shore, unable to swim back due to the shark circling her. With the tide rising and the rock becoming submerged, Nancy must use her intelligence, physical strength, and resourcefulness to survive the relentless predator while being isolated from help.
