Plot Summary

Two decades after the fall of Imhotep, the world believed the age of curses and dark magic was over. But when an ancient forbidden tomb is uncovered beneath the ruins of Luxor, something far more sinister awakens—a powerful Pharaoh Akhenaten, the first and only ruler to ever banish the gods of Egypt.

Resurrected by a secret cult, Akhenaten returns with immense supernatural powers, seeking to reshape the world in his own image and plunge it into eternal darkness. As plagues sweep across the land, whispers of the Pharaoh’s return spread fear among the people.

Rick and Evelyn O’Connell, now retired from treasure hunting, are forced back into action when their son Alex goes missing after a failed expedition into the cursed tomb.
