Another Round (2020)

Another Round (Druk) is a Danish drama film directed by Thomas Vinterberg, starring Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang and Lars Ranthe. The film explores the lives of four middle-aged high school teachers who decide to test a theory suggesting that maintaining a stable blood alcohol concentration can improve their lives.
Led by Martin (Mads Mikkelsen), a history teacher facing a midlife crisis and a sense of monotony in his work and personal life, the group begins drinking during the day to see if it enhances their creativity, productivity and happiness. At first, the results seemed promising as men became more engaged and energized, feeling a new sense of purpose. However, as their drinking increases, the experiment spirals out of control, leading to both personal and professional consequences.
