🚆 Plot Summary

Years after the fall of Korea, the zombie outbreak has spread beyond the peninsula, infecting much of Asia and Europe. Cities have collapsed, governments have crumbled, and humanity clings to the last remnants of civilization.

However, a secret government-controlled train, known as the Redemption Express, has been discovered—a mobile lab carrying the only known scientists who hold the key to reversing the infection. The train is set to depart from Seoul Station, heading toward the last functional human sanctuary in Busan, but it faces a deadly obstacle: hordes of evolved, faster, and more aggressive zombies waiting along the tracks.

Ji-eun (Jung Hoyeon), a battle-hardened survivor, joins a desperate team of fighters, led by Captain Kang (Lee Jehoon), to escort the Redemption Express through the deadliest route yet. Meanwhile, a military warlord, Minister Park (Song Kang-ho), believes that the cure should never be released—only the strongest should survive.

With zombies, ruthless raiders, and a ticking clock, the survivors must fight to protect the cure, save humanity, and make it to Busan one last time.
