“The Beastmaster” (1982) is a fantasy adventure film directed by Don Coscarelli. The film stars Marc Singer as Dar, a young man with the ability to communicate with animals, and Tanya Roberts as Kiri, his love interest.
Set in a mythical world, the story follows Dar, who discovers his unique powers after witnessing the destruction of his village by the evil sorcerer Marduk (played by Rip Torn).
