In Geostorm, the Earth is in crisis after extreme climate disasters wreak havoc across the globe. In response, world governments create a satellite system, known as “Dutch Boy,” designed to control the weather and prevent future catastrophic events. However, when this technology is sabotaged and starts causing deadly weather patterns instead, Jake Lawson (Gerard Butler), the system’s original architect, is called back into action to fix the problem before a worldwide geostorm engulfs the planet.

As Jake races against time in space, his brother Max Lawson (Jim Sturgess) works on Earth to uncover a conspiracy that threatens not only the satellites but also the fate of humanity itself. The brothers must confront political intrigue, sabotage, and natural disasters of unprecedented scale in their attempt to prevent total annihilation.
